Assembly Row
Located in Somerville, just outside of Boston and accessible on the MBTA’s Orange Line, Assembly Row has something for everyone. Fashionistas might be interested in the outlet shopping options, which include Sephora, Coach, lululemon, and more. Hungry? Dining options Salt+Stone and Southern Kin Cookhouse. Those looking for drinks could try Downeast Cider or Tony C’s Bar and Grille. Kids might enjoy building cool creations at the LEGO Discovery Center. And there’s a movie theater and a bowling alley for the whole family!
 
Lee Premium Outlets
Out in Western Massachusetts, there’s no better place to find both local and well-known retailers than Lee. The area is designed to evoke a quaint New England town. Outlet and factory stores include  Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Ann Taylor, and Brooks Brothers. And while you’re there you can pick up some locally made goods at Berkshire Gifts! All while surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Berkshires.
 
Patriot Place
Gillette Stadium may be well known as the home stadium for the New England Patriots and New England Revolution, but did you know that the area is also home to some of the best shopping in the state? In fact, it has over a million square feet of shopping, dining, and entertainment. Restaurants include casual and fine dining, in addition to takeout. Retail shops include the area’s only Bass Pro Shop. If you get sick of shopping, don’t miss the chance to take a stroll along the Nature Trail and Ocean Spray Cranberry Bog on property. Get there from Boston via the MBTA Commuter Rail, and stay over at one of the many hotels on property if you can’t bear to leave!
 
Mashpee Commons
Mashpee Commons isn’t just a unique shopping community in the heart of the Cape – it’s also a community that hosts free events year-round. There are over 100 shops, ranging from clothing like Black Dog and Vineyard Vines, jewelry, furniture stores like Pottery Barn and Beyond the Barn, and even art galleries. When you’re hungry, there’s fine dining (53 Chophouse and Bleu Restaurant), bakeries and desserts (Cupcake Charlie’s and Duke’s Donut Worx), and takeout options. There’s even a mini golf course!
 
Bearskin Neck, Rockport
Bearskin Neck
The views and community vibe of Rockport’s seaside Bearskin Neck are well worth the travel up the North Shore. Located right next to Front Beach, Bearskin Neck is not only home to local shops with home-made goods you won’t get anywhere else, it’s also where you’ll find the iconic fishing shack Motif #1, which has inspired artists for decades. Roy Moore Lobster Company is a great place to stop for one of the best lobster rolls in the state, or venture down to the end of the peninsula to My Place By the Sea for an unforgettable meal. Nearby, don’t miss the incredible Shalin Lieu Performance Center, where you can see both world class performers and a unique bay backdrop.
 
The Shops at Blackstone Valley
Located in Millbury, just outside of Worcester, the Shops at Blackstone Valley, have everything you’ll need for a fun-filled day of shopping. The largest open-air shopping center in Central Massachusetts is easily accessible from the Massachusetts Turnpike and home to dozens of stores, restaurants, and other entertainment.
 
Thornes Marketplace, Northampton
Thornes Marketplace
At the center of Downtown Northampton you’ll find Thornes  Marketplace – a collection of unique shopping and dining opportunities. Throughout three levels, you’ll find eclectic local and independent shops and restaurants. Even if you’re not in the mood for shopping, you can walk around and admire the architecture – Thornes Marketplace sits inside a classic building that features pressed tin ceilings, hardwood floors, stained glass windows, and grand staircases.
