World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA)



WOGA was co-founded in 1994 by Olympic Champion, Valeri Liukin, and World Sports Acrobatic Champion, Yevgeny Marchenko. 


With humble beginnings, Liukin and Marchenko’s vision was to produce the best gymnasts in the world and to give back to the community by offering recreational programs for kids of all skill levels.


WOGA has trained some of the best gymnasts to have ever hit the mat, including three Olympic Champions – Carly Patterson (Athens 2004), Nastia Liukin (Beijing 2008), and Madison Kocian (Rio 2016).

Annually, Frisco hosts the WOGA Classic and Valeri Liukin Invitational, bringing together competitors from across the United States and the world.



Eagle Gymnastics



Longtime friends and competitive gymnasts, Ginger Fox and Carol Van Biezen, opened Eagle Gymnastics in 2004, eager to create a family-oriented, positive atmosphere for kids. 


The 20,000-square-foot gym offers programs for children aged 18 months through competitive programs, including Women’s and Men’s Gymnastics, and Tumbling and Trampoline.


Eagle’s recreational programs focus on building a strong athletic foundation for young athletes, prioritizing character and life skills as much as gymnastics training. 


Eagle’s competitive programs are strong, with athletes having earned several State, Regional, National, and International awards.



Kurt Thomas Gymnastics



As the first male gymnast to win a world championship gold medal for the United States, Kurt Thomas revolutionized the sport with his innovative and daring routines. 


After retiring from competitive gymnastics, Thomas channeled his passion into coaching and founded Kurt Thomas Gymnastics in Frisco, where he inspired a new generation of gymnasts to push the boundaries of what was thought possible. 


Following Kurt’s passing in 2020, his wife Beckie has continued his legacy, offering a place for athletes to flourish as gymnasts and young adults. 


Today, Kurt Thomas Gymnastics specializes in training athletes ages 3 through 18.


To date, Kurt Thomas Gymnastics’ record includes 1,900 state, regional, and national titles and 21 athletes earning full-ride college scholarships.

All 4 Frisco has 24,000 square feet dedicated to cheer, gymnastics, tumbling, stunting and Ninja training. 


The facility includes 3 regulation cheer floors and 1 regulation gymnastics floor with kinder and full size apparatuses, multiple balance beams and trampolines available. 


All 4 is a small program working to create a welcoming, character-driven environment where families feel connected and athletes are active, learn new skills, and gain confidence that transfers beyond the gym.



 

Gymnastics Shines in Frisco During the WOGA Classic

Proving once again that Frisco is proud of its athletes, every year the city plays host to the WOGA Classic and Valeri Liukin Invitational. Held at Ford Center at The Star, which is the world headquarters and training facility of the Dallas Cowboys, the WOGA Classic assembles thousands of competitors from 10 different countries to compete in men’s and women’s gymnastics.

Whether competing in the WOGA Classic or fighting for their spot on the podium in red, white, and blue, gymnasts like Skye Blakely, Zoey Molomo, Kaliya Lincoln, and Hezly Rivera capture our attention and our hearts. And, icons like Nastia Liukin and her father, Valeri, have a connection with Frisco that’s on display at the annual invitational.
