Established in 1970, this two-week break begins on the second last Sunday of July, which for 2024 means July 21st through August 4th. Though not an official statutory holiday in Quebec, the Construction Holiday significantly influences summer vacation plans for workers throughout the province. While it primarily caters to construction workers, many others in Quebec also align their vacations with this annual tradition.
