Day 01 of Best Nepal Vacation Package | Arrival in Kathmandu

After arriving in Kathmandu, our tour officer will be holding a placard with your name. He/she will transfer you to the hotel.

Check into the hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 02 of Best Nepal Vacation Package | Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu

We start a full day of sightseeing, exploring the amazing Kathmandu Valley. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you in a private vehicle to three of the amazing seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Kathmandu Valley.

You will visit the city’s UNESCO-listed Kathmandu Durbar Square and Hanuman Dhoka Square, and explore the temples and monuments . While touring this site, you will feel as if you have time traveled to the past. A complex of buildings spread out across a few acres in the heart of the city.

It was established during the Licchavi era in the fourth century, but its legacy persisted during the Malla and Shah empires as well. Although it is the city’s historical and cultural center, this neighborhood was severely damaged by the 2015 earthquake, and building renovations are still happening today.

You will then visit the Swayambhunath Stupa next, the most significant Buddhist shrine in Kathmandu. The complex is known as Monkey Temple because of the large number of monkeys that encircle the stairwell leading up to it.

Perched on a hilltop overlooking the valley, this ancient Buddhist stupa is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists.

From there, proceed to Patan Durbar Square, the other UNESCO site in the Kathmandu Valley. Explore Old Patan’s back alleys, stopping at temples and courtyards along the way.

A highlight is the Mahaboudha Temple, which has hundreds of little Buddha sculptures, as well as the Hirayavara Mahavihara, often known as the Golden Temple, despite the fact that it is neither golden nor a temple.

Day 03 of Best Nepal Vacation Package | Kathmandu to Pokhara Drive (205 Kms – 6 Hours Drive)

After a hearty breakfast, drive to Pokhara.

While Kathmandu is home to the country’s major cultural attractions, Pokhara is Nepal’s adventure hub. The city is ideally located for a wide range of outdoor activities because it is just next to the Annapurna Himalaya and borders Phewa Lake and other smaller slopes. It also provides a variety of ways to unwind, whether you’re into yoga or leisurely strolls around Phewa Lake.

View of Lakes and Mountains During Paragliding

After arriving in Pokhara, check-in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free. Utilize this free time by strolling around the Phewa lake. You can browse the different gift shops, bookstores, and eateries that line the lake. On clear days, you can see the Himalaya from the shore and its snow-capped peaks reflected in the lake.

Day 04 of Best Nepal Vacation Package | Sightseeing Tour of Pokhara

Early in the morning (0430 am), be ready at your hotel lobby. Our guide will pick you up and you will drive to Sarangkot hill for a magnificent sunrise view (weather permitting).

Sarangkot Hill stands directly over Phewa Lake at the very edge of Pokhara. To get to the hilltop settlement, you can either drive there or climb there for three hours. The trail passes through gorgeous trees, and for the majority of the distance, enormous stone slabs make a clumsy set of steps. The Annapurnas and Machapuchare can be seen very well from Sarangkot, and they are especially stunning at sunrise.

After breakfast, you will visit various attractions in Pokhara city:

1. Visit Davi’s Fall

Phewa Lake’s outflow creates a little stream that flows through the vicinity’s valley and through a constricting gorge before generating a waterfall. The little gorge is amusing to explore because it is around 500 feet long and 100 feet deep. The stream travels through Gupteshwor Mahadev cave after emerging from the gorge.

2. Explore Gupteshowor Mahadev Cave

The stream enters a subterranean tunnel just after Devi’s Fall. Locals worship and revere a massive stalagmite as the Shiva lingam, and devotees come here to pray. You can enter the temple with your entry ticket. Additionally, you can gain access to the tunnel that leads to a damp cavern directly behind the pouring Devi’s Fall.

Once inside the cave, glance up at the ceiling to observe debris and branches that had actually been driven up there by floodwaters that filled the cave during the monsoon season. These were found in crevices in the rock.

3. Experience Boating & Visit Tal Barahi Temple

A 30-minute boat journey across Phewa Lake will bring you to Tal Barahi temple, which lies on a small island in the middle of the lake and is well-liked by first-time tourists to Pokhara. It’s a beautiful location and a good way to unwind, especially when paired with a tranquil lake ride by boat.

The Hindu deity Barahi is honored in this temple. Barahi is the Shakti (feminine energy) of Baraha, the boar-like representation of the god Vishnu, who has the head of a swine. She is referred to as Barahi in Nepali.

Your chauffeur will transfer you back to the hotel. If you have time, then you can always stroll around Phewa Lake.
