Hamanasi Resort is a destination of its own. The gorgeous property has a thriving coastal forest teeming with birds, animals and colorful flowers. It boasts four ecozones – the beach, the coastal forest, the pond and the savannah, each with unique features. Take time to sink your toes in the sand while stargazing. Go forest bathing while spotting birds, agoutis and coatimundis. Checkout the pond boardwalk while looking for turtles, iguanas or crocodiles. Enjoy sunrise or sunset from the Lookout on top of the Great House. There is so much to experience simply strolling the grounds.
School supplies donated by guests during their stay. Photo: Nathan Barrett
Hamanasi regularly encourages guests to contribute to our community initiative called Pack for Purpose. By bringing school, medical and pet supplies for local children and schools you can make a positive impact on your vacation. What’s even better, is that you can turn this into a great family activity. Guests are given the opportunity to visit the school and see firsthand how contributions are being used. It’s also a great chance for families to appreciate life’s blessings after interacting with the locals!

Children rely on adults to mimic bravery and to learn. Hamanasi is a great, safe space to introduce your children to the incredible underwater life of the Belize Reef, the second largest barrier reef in the world. Instinctively, children small and big are curious, so this is a substantial time to explore together, while instilling a love for nature and teaching the importance of preserving marine life. Hamanasi’s guides make sure that each member of the family is comfortable, well-kitted, and safe. A guide is typically assigned to one family, so you can feel safe together. This is definitely an enriching, unforgettable opportunity that you don’t want to miss.
