Christopherson Business Travel is phasing in an integrated travel management platform, starting with a traveler app, the travel management company announced.The app integrates with multiple booking tools and offers such capabilities as itinerary management, keeping loyalty numbers and personal travel preferences updated, trip coordination with colleagues and itinerary updates including flight status data for disruption management, according to Christopherson. It is part of the first phase of the TMC’s Andavo platform, which it is releasing over the next several months to customers.The first phase also includes the Andavo developer portal, with which customers can access their data via API so that developers can build integrated technology in the platform, according to Christopherson.”This platform provides a post-PNR, modern trip management framework and paves the way for AI-powered travel experiences,” Christopherson chief technology officer Chad Maughan said in a statement. “The Andavo app is the first manifestation of this platform.”
